Department of History · Goldman School of Public Policy
Teaching
I have taught at Berkeley since 2008, in the Department of History and, since 2019, at the Goldman School of Public Policy. My courses range from introductory lectures in global history to graduate seminars on international history and the uses of history in policymaking. Across them all, I strive to empower students to understand a changing world—and to become effective navigators, and makers, of change.
